Before you order

Will it fit?
The most useful question you can ask. Measure your wrist — a tape measure or a strip of paper marked and laid flat will do — and tell us the number. We'll give you the case diameter, the thickness and the lug-to-lug measurement, which predicts fit better than diameter alone.

Quartz, mechanical or automatic?
Tell us how often you'd wear it. A quartz watch needs nothing from you between battery changes; an automatic stops after a couple of days in a drawer. Neither is better — they suit different habits, and we'll say which fits yours.

What does the water resistance actually allow?
Ratings are pressure tests, not depths. Tell us what you'll do while wearing it — showering, swimming, sailing — and we'll tell you plainly whether the watch is rated for it.

Solid metal or plated?
We'll tell you which, and where a piece is plated we'll give the thickness if the manufacturer publishes it. Solid precious metal above the statutory weight carries a UK hallmark.

Strap and bracelet
Material, lug width, whether it can be swapped, and how many links the bracelet has for sizing.

You'll hear back from someone who has handled the watch, not a line lifted from a supplier sheet. We'd rather give good advice than process a return.

After you've ordered

Where's my parcel?
Your tracking number arrives by email once your order is dispatched. Allow 24 to 48 hours for the first scan — a quiet tracking page on day one is normal.

Every watch goes tracked and signed for, so someone needs to be there. If you won't be in, the courier's safe-place or neighbour option is available through the tracking link once the parcel is moving.

Our delivery window runs 4 to 8 working days. If tracking stalls, or says delivered when nothing arrived, send us your order number — we'll open the investigation with the courier ourselves.

Returns and refunds
Get in touch before posting anything back and we'll send the correct return address and a reference. You have 30 days from delivery, no reason needed, and that includes sale items.

Sizing the bracelet won't affect your return — just send the removed links back with the watch. Use a tracked and insured service.

Faulty, damaged or wrong watch
Photographs and your order number is all we need. You choose a full refund or a replacement, and we cover the return postage including insurance.

Something that isn't a fault
Battery life, timekeeping within the manufacturer's stated tolerance, and normal strap or plating wear. Ask us anyway — we'd rather explain than have you wonder.

Cancelling an order
We can cancel free of charge before dispatch. Email us as soon as you can.

Anything else
Press, partnerships, or feedback on the site — same address, and we'll pass it to the right person.

Two things that speed up a reply

Lead with your order number. It sits at the top of your order confirmation email. Without it, we're searching by name and email address, which typically adds a day.

Photograph the dial and the caseback for anything technical. The caseback carries the model and serial number, and that tells us more about your watch in one image than a paragraph of description can.
